LG and fashion label Prada are collaborating for the third time to release the first LG Prada smartphone, the Prada phone by LG 3.0.

The first LG Prada, also known as LG KE850, was the world’s first mobile phone to use a touchscreen display.

The teams behind the design and construction have offered a sneak peek into the handset that will be on offer next fall via an image released by the company.

Neither of the two concerned companies has revealed any information on the upcoming LG Prada phone.

Dr. Jong-seok Park, CEO of LG Eletronics Mobile Communications Company, said, “Our working relationship with PRADA is unique in its longevity and success, something no other phone company and luxury brand have been able to replicate.”

Designer labels attached to phones is not a novelty these days considering the Hugo Boss Samsung Galaxy Ace or the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9981 devices.

Mercedes-Benz Launches Perfume For Men

Mercedes-Benz has launched a new fragrance for men simply labeled Mercedes-Benz Perfume.

The new fragrance was launched at the recent TFWA World Exhibition retail event held in Cannes, France and goes on sale in the first quarter of next year.

The particular blend has been composed by renowned perfumer Olivier Cresp (Firmenich) and will be available as an eau de toilette, after shave, deodorant, and shower and body gel.

The world of fragrance is not new to Mercedes-Benz: the company already offers exclusively developed perfumes for the atomizers in its Maybach models and in the Mercedes-Benz S 600 Pullman.

You’ll recall that in the limited edition Maybach Zeppelin, for example, an acrylic ball is used to dispense a bespoke fragrance through the cabin at the push of a button.

The latest fragrance is designed to fit in with Mercedes-Benz's other high-end accessories, which include watches and eye wear.

Hublot Chukker Bang Watch

Hublot have released in collaboration with Polo Gold Cup Gstaad the limited edition Chukker Bang.

The new watch is inspired by the world of polo, and even developed together with Facundo Piers, who is one of the wold’s best polo players.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Hublot caliber HUB1141 flyback automatic chronograph movement with 59 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours.

The special feature of this caliber is its 7 min. 30 counter which reflects the length of one period of play, or “chukka”, in a polo match.

Its chronograph hand completes one revolution of the dial in 30 seconds.

Other features include a 44.5mm titanium case and grille, a ceramic bezel, satin bridges with black PVD titanium screws, a rhodium-plated main plate, and, of course, special Chukker Bang engraving on the back.

Only 500 numbered pieces of the watch will be produced and it also comes in a version with a diamond encrusted grill.

Pierre Cardin has entered in to the tablet market with a 7 inch Android powered tablet, the Pierre Cardin PC-7006 tablet.

The Pierre Cardin PC-7006 comes with a classy leather portfolio which protects the tablet as well as adds a touch of class and sophistication to the device.

The Pierre Cardin PC-7006 Tablet PC runs Android 2.2 and comes with the mentioned 7-inch 800×480 pixels capacitive touchscreen.

Girard-Perregaux ww.tc for Only Watch 2011

Girard-Perregaux‘s contribution to this year’s Only Watch auction is a unique version of their worldwide time control model.

The entire piece has a very soft, smooth look to it, with rounded edges on the case, chrono pushers and strap.

Girard Perregaux used ultra-light titanium oxide to produce the white single-piece watch-case middle, and the thin bezel is made of ceramic.

As with some of the Only Watch pieces we have seen already, the ww.tc incorporates the white and red colors that are representative of the Monaco flag.

Functions on the busy dial include hour, minute, small seconds, world time with day/night indicator, fly-back chronograph, and date.

The final exciting feature of this watch (unfortunately not pictured) is a case-back in smoked sapphire crystal.

This luxury smarthphone is available from this month, and the price is €7,700 for the stainless steel model and €12,000 for the 18-karat gold model

MB&F HM-4 Panda for Only Watch 2011

MB&F returns to the Only Watch charity auction in 2011 with another emotionally charged piece – this time in collaboration with Chinese artist Huang Hankang.

HM4 Only Watch features a solid gold panda bear riding on top of the HM4 jet, which he controls with reins made of twisted gossamer filaments made of gold.

The panda was hand-carved and then cast in 18k white gold using the “lost wax” technique.

And while the HM4 Only Watch is a celebration of the fantasy of children’s dreams, there is also a feature for those obliged to ground their feet in reality from time to time.

The panda and his reins have been micro-engineered to be completely detachable so that HM4 transforms from a flying machine into a Horological Machine.

Chanel Launches New Boy Bag Collection

It takes a lot of time and dedication for a luxury brand to establish an ‘it’ bag along the lines of a Mulberry Alexa or a Hermès Kelly bag, but when Chanel launches a whole new handbag range, you can be almost certain, they will be instant classics.

The new collection will draw inspiration from an androgynous style based on a hunter’s cartridge that founder Coco Chanel used to wear herself.

“Chanel used men’s underwear to make dresses,” the house’s creative director Karl Lagerfeld explained. “She had this boyish attitude, in fact it is the very spirit of Chanel. She got it from Boy Capel, the great love of her life…”

The new line will consequently be called Boy, which seems like a clever move considering fashion’s current fascination with gender-bending styles and menswear references in almost all ready-to-wear collections.

On sale in stores from September, the new handbags will be available in a palette of red, grey, and ivory glazed calfskin, with prices ranging from $2500 to $4300.
