Woolen Dresses to Warm the Heart

The luxury Lifestyle blog (the home of luxury Lifestyle) presents Woolen Dresses to Warm the Heart.

A dress made from wool, so warm and caressing, is the must-have detail in wardrobe of any woman. It is so comfortable and is suitable in spring and autumn, when sharp wind is killing, and when frost is not the problem to look a real woman. Two or even three woolen dresses of various color and style are better to have to stay feminine and alluring any time.

Woolen dresses are not made from motley fabric of crying citric colors, instead the fabric of dull and faded shades is chosen. Woolen dresses of darker dues is the classic genre of women wear. They are good to match with various accessories, every time looking different changing the details. Besides, a woolen dress is first of all perceived as the detail of the business wear, and this is the other plus in favor of the restrained color, but not the pompous flamboyance of riot of colors. In most cases dresses are buttoned in the front, and it is the option to wear them over blouses from delicate fabric.

When looking for the woolen dress, the special attention should be paid to texture and quality of the fabric it is made from. The long fiber is unnecessary here since it rolls up after the short-time wear and the dress will lose the chic of the new item of clothing. When the dress is styled as the long sweater, it is allowed to be puffy and furry. Such dresses are loved by celebrities for every day wear. In particular, Mad Ryan is kind of trendsetter of woolen dresses as we perceive them today. Black Lively is also noted with her love to woolen dresses a-la sweaters when she appears wearing it long to match with dense chess pattern tights and high to thigh leather boots. The ideal fabric for the dress styled as the sweater is merino, as the fashion designers suppose.

Woolen dresses are included in autumn-winter collections of almost all couturiers, both at home and abroad. This trend is worth to be noted by Heider Askerman, Stella McCartney, Monsoon, Kova & T. when woolen dresses styled as tunics or sweaters were leaders to keep the top positions in autumn-winter season 2009-2010, the autumn-winter season 2010-2011 promises to care for the retro tendencies to push up. Woolen dresses from the collections by Prada, Jason Wu, Louis Vuitton, Dolce&Gabbana, Marni and other fashion houses revive images of the 50s in America when women used to wear woolen dresses together with girdles and loose bottom-like skirts. Marc Jacobs supposes that metal zips will look appropriate with such dresses.

The major consuming advantages of dresses made from wool are those that they keep warmth perfectly, they are durable to dirt and they do not tend to make crimples. All woolen fabric can be divided into pure wool and half-wool. We set the condition here since even the 100% woolen fabric has only 90% of that, at the highest level. With the mixed fabric, we suppose the structure contains various percentage ratio of wool and additives as lavsan, fosta nylon, acryl, polyamide and polyester.

Woolen dresses are not recommended to wash in washing machine at all, even if the regime Manual or Wool Wash. Manual washing is better and then your dresses will be with you for longer time. Usually it is hard to find detergents for woolen things, and only special means are needed with safe surfactant species. Bleacher is absolutely forbidden to use when washing woolen things, especially when there is no additive from artificial material.

When washing dresses, try to avoid rubbing the dirt, since later you will find unpleasant rolls. You’d better soak the dress in the soapy solution for several minutes. Wetting for long period of time is not good for woolen dresses. The woolen dresses fretful in care are not recommended to twist and press out to extract water. The only thing to do is to place the dress on the surface onto the terry towel. In room temperature such drying can take two or three days. It takes time and nerves, though it is worth doing once you want to keep your favorite dress in the right shape.

Drying the dress on the surface on the towel, make sure it is not left for longer time; otherwise you risk to have your dress with disgusting unpleasant smell of stagnant water.
